North-west from Buckden to Redmire, then south-west and a climb to the top of Birks Fell. North-west via Birks Tarn to meet A Pennine Journey on Horse Head Moor, followed by a north-east descent to the hamlet of Yockenthwaite. East on the Dales Way to Hubberholme alongside the banks of the River Wharfe, then up to Cray before returning to Buckden by way of Buckden Rake. An 11-mile walk in the Yorkshire Dales.
